I've done it in the past simply because there were no other jobs on offer and I had to pay the bills whilst I was studying. It's not up to us who we call, we get a list of people we call that is grouped by areas. So yes, you may be called one day and the following day but that's not the persons fault. As for the fact that if people wanted the service they would look for it themselves that just? goes straight out the window. Telemarketers wouldn't exist if nobody brought anything from them, so it's not us you need to abuse, its your friends next door for discovering we could actually 'save them money'.

What about the fact that regardless of whether you say you're not interested they will always call another day. Then add the other 16 telemarketers that call on a daily basis. It's beyond annoying because if someone really wanted the service you are offering they would seek it themselves. And if you're? not happy with how you're being treated than find another job. I did telemarketing once a long time ago.? At that point in my life I was killing brain cells nightly, as were most of the people I worked with (either that or they were just born stupid and lazy), and that was the only job I could get. Once I sobered up and stopped being such an idiot I actually went out and found a real job fairly easily. Point being, the only people working as telemarketers are either on drugs, stupid, lazy, or some combination of the three. Get a haircut, you hippies.
