Christopher? Reeve IS Superman. His memory forever lives on in the entire world's idea of who Superman is. In that respect, this is not so much Reeve's theme as it is Superman's in general. To NOT include this theme in Superman is almost a disservice to the character. I really, REALLY hope they do - even if it's re-recorded, or only a tiny snippet, and only appears once, even if it's at the end - I just want to hear that theme, so that I know I am watching Superman!

sure, I really want the new Superman movie to good and? the more I learn the more apprehensive I am. for a start their using zod, which means it will just be compared more to the seventies films and they've decided to use a "52" styled costume which just doesn't look supermanish to me. The Actor playing the role does look alot like superman though so who knows we might be surprised ny his performance.

Awesome movie, i loved it since i was 4 years old with part 2 27 years ago and became a Superman fan including with DC comics and Marvel, i even had some merchandise to Superman and read/collected the comics as did my bigger brother who saw this in theaters when he was a kid. Nolan might had brought Batman to incredible standards, and he might make good films outside of Batman, but he isn't a fucking God. Nolan's style just doesn't sit well with Superman, and I have to agree. Some of the changes in characters, in casting and? the outfit make me wonder what they are thinking? Don't get me wrong, this movie might blow Donner's Superman out of the water. But with the way it's looking right now? I'm not holding my breath.

At the end of the day, Bryan Singer was perfect director. He followed Richard Donner's style to a tie and treated the franchise with respect. I just thin ka stronger script, a better Lois and an actual? Supervillian would have put that movie up to a much higher standard. Still, I suppose it means nothing now. Since we have this shit to look forward too. I'll just wait for TDKR.
