Hi For me, Elizium is the epitome of the Nephilim, especially At the gates of silent memory & And there will your heart be also. What you describe as a step backwards is what I perceive as a move away? from ancient Sumer. They should never have split. The original line-up, were so perfect musically during the Elizium era.The darker moments of Nephilim are definitely held in the slower movements of their songs. I still like the backward steps, but Elizium remains unrivalled, like you say...
