This is one pertiful spider. When I find the species name for it, I'll change the title. It appears to mimick a hover fly or a yellow jacket with the way the abdomen looks and moves.

Jumping Spider In My Apartment

This is a phidippus audax in my apartment. These spiders are great for controlling the brown recluse population being that they are hunters. I live on my own, so I don't have to worry about the spider bothering anyone who might be afraid of them. I monitor the spiders, when the female gets extremely fat, she goes in a container because she is full of eggs and may be carrying fertile eggs.

Cute Little Jumping Spider-Young Phidippus Audax

This little cutie is a young phidippus audax jumping spider I came across, she was pretty coopertive, so it made for some easy recording while watching her. She even let me pick her up after she got a little less shy of my presence. Afterwards I put her back on the tree and let her walk by my finger so viewers can see how small she is.

Tornado Passes North Of Chester OK

This is video of some tornadoes I videoed from the April 14 tornado outbreak in Oklahoma. Kansas and Nebraska also had tornadoes, but I targeted Woodward Oklahoma hoping to get some good storms and possibly find at least one long track tornado.

Tornadic Supercell Spawns First Tornado

Video of a supercell storm with nice structure, and a tornado spawns from it off in the distance. I was north of Chester OK, but the tornado was WSW of my location and several miles away. You can actually see the debris cloud even though it was so far off at the time. This storm is the same one that I would end up getting a nice tornado recorded in a second video.

Went out and managed to see a few brief tornadoes near Sharon and Woodward Oklahoma. The tornadoes wouldn't last long, so it was hard getting all of them recorded. I managed to get 2 of them recorded, and also got some really good video of the storm motions in the last 2 segments of this video.
