or understeer, they get that a bit with taking corners too fast over oversteer especially unless you have the room to whip the tail around and slide through the corner which obviously isn't as fast but you can see in the Evo's the rear tire just starts to pick up a little. never the less i like this one out of the? 2

Nice driving, glad to see you touched the suspension but why stock engine? At the very least full exhaust and tune you would have SO much more fun and it's much more responsive, not to? mention 50 hp faster

Perhaps you should pay more attention to the apexes of the corners; you missed? quite a few. I think you could go faster if you took a better line around the track. Avhenisto is a track that can be driven much faster.

Where can i pick up that M Power wheel at 1:01? Please reply. Just bought my e46 2004 in Laguna Seca Blue and those would really finnish it off. The m3 is a far superior car compared to the STI especially the CSL version. STI is a good car no doubt. If it means anything? to you id take an STI over an m3 for rally definitely haha.

To each its own but I know for a fact that a subie sounds like a fart can and an m3 of any year sounds much more race bred. And I dont know how many cars youve heard in your life but there isnt many common consumer cars that sound even close to an m3 so think again. The guy in this video is Tiff Needell (ex top gear? & racing driver) and they also have Jason Plato (current BTCC champion) where Clarkson, Hammond & May are journalists. No, the 06-07? WRX STI was the one. The 3 piece grill was FUGLY. The 5 door hatchback took alot of getting use to but the front face of the 08-09 is the most ferocious design. With a price tag of $38,000, the poor cannot touch it!!!!!

They now have much narrower rims, similar to the 94 models.. like 5.5 inches wide (yep). I like the look somewhat, but the rims, brakes, and also the cableless accelerator is bad. I like a accel cable as oppossed to the electronic throttle crap.. Its lighter, but not as? fast as the 03-05 models.. i test drove it, it is much nicer, but no where near the drive of my 03 for those wondering.

The seats are thinner (cheaper), the seat bottoms that you actually sit on, are now flat. Thats right no bucket support down low. They have smaller disc brakes. also, 2 spot instead of 4.:(?

Next year subaru should ditch the awd and the turbo and put the old? 1.8l na motor back in it so it gets 32mpg on the way back and forth from the beauty salon!

this guy is dumb, 1st trail braking is used in the apex to direct the nose of the car avoiding understeer (grip racing) not throttle to lift the nose and braking hard before the turn to shift weight forward (brake drifting). 2nd power over is exactly what it say using the power to break the rear loose, kansai is the lift off technique which is for the more experienced since there is alot of speed entering? the turn then lifting off the throttle jolting the weight forward leaving the rear loose.

(this is a good time to throw in a counter steer so you don't lose your ride) under- your worst nightmare, i totaled a car because of understeer, i learned my lesson and got a z eventually after that. i blame the anti-lock braking system and traction control. now i drive without all that cause you become dependant on it. understeer, basically happens like this, you turn, car goes straight, BAM!! GUARDRAIL!!!, or in some cases, 1,000,000FT CLIFF!!!!!!!!

counter- correcting a slide to make your car go straight again (rear end slides out to the right, if you turn the wheel to the right, without panicking, and feather the throttle, you should be fine) more of a feel thang, i can't explain things too well, just practice and you should become better at avoiding accidents, and much more graceful behind the wheel. over-? a normal turn but the rear end over powers the front, it will throw you side ways and have you either eating the curve

You don't need to ebrake a Z, save that for Hondas. If you throw it into the turn and overaccelerate the back end comes loose? and you countersteer and feather the throttle to control it. It's a powerful and light car ,so you have to be gentle on the throttle, or you spin out. Once you get used to it , the car is very predictable.

Seriously, you got an sti and don't know the basic? restrictions imposed on WRC cars? google it. WRC cars are quite limited (for example, inlet restrictor), only producing around 300 BHP. That translates to semi-fast 402m times, at best, these cars are beasts when it comes to cornering and are sublimely balanced and responsive, thats their real power.

Targa Tasmania which any1 can enter.. there are shopz .. say for $100,000 they can convert a normal Lancer Evo? to a rally spec.. i know there is a shop not far from me that do rally.. it's a suspension shop.. but i waz told they were dodgy.. dont know about Subaruz but maybe at a Subaru Dealer/Factory or a supensionship that might compete in Rally's in your country

This allows you to burn raw fuel and have combustion occur in the exhaust manifold. This creates high pressure the exhaust manifold and turbine housing, allow the turbo to "spool". The maneuverability of this aircraft is indeed amazing, but has very little? tactical advantage, as most dogfights are from a longer distance. For instance, the guided missiles used now can be fired from over the horizon. It would be very difficult to evade 2 missiles fired at it in succesion, for instance. That little cloud is not evidence of supersonic flight, though it is evidence of high-speed flight. It has more to do with the amount of moisture in the air than on sound waves. Planes flying faster than the speed of sound might not have them, and planes not? flying that fast can have them.

Aircraft are not allowed to break the sound barrier during airshows. I have see this same phenomenon at the Dayton, Ohio airshow. No sonic boom. They aren't? allowed to do it.

Yep, it does given the right conditions. It's called the Prandtl--Glauert singularity. And the crackling is actually very minor sonic booms as some of the air around the aircraft is moved faster than the speed of sound. The aircraft? itself didn't break the sound barrier however. What that was called was a transonic flight.
