Capture Lasting Memories with Camera Skydiving

Anyone going skydiving for the first time won't have any problem remembering the experience. But just in case, there is what is called Camera Skydiving. This involves actually recording the experience while it is taking place. There are quite a few skydiving schools that offer the recording service as part of your experience. They will record the jump for you so that you will have a memento to take home with you. Rather than simply describing the experience to your friends and family, you can show it to them.

The camera is used as a part of the headgear. You will need to wear a protective helmet regardless of whether it has a camera mounted to it or not. The helmet is used to protect your head from impact in the event of a botched landing. Choose a helmet designed for skydiving, and be sure to try it on before making your purchase. It should fit snugly and feel comfortable without being too tight. Your instructor will of course check all your gear to make sure it is appropriate. You will definitely want to go for a helmet with eye protection attached, otherwise you'll also need to purchase a pair of goggles.

If you are interested in seeing what a skydive looks like when captured on film, head on over to YouTube which is the premier site for all kinds of video footage. You will surely find quite a few sky diving adventures on there to watch. The quality of the footage will often depend on the skill of the jumper recording the event as well as how good of a camera you have. There are different cameras available, so do some comparison shopping to find the best one for your preference and price range.

You can learn more about Camera Skydiving from your instructor. If you haven't yet signed for lessons, you will need to do so before you take your first jump. Of course, if you go for a tandem jump, you will not need as much instruction as you would if you were jumping on your own. A tandem jump means you are attached to your teacher. Training for this type of skydiving only takes an hour or so. Whether you jump on your own or go tandem, capturing your adventure on film is a great way to preserve your memories for a lifetime!
