Sky diving involves jumping from a plane located thousands of feet above the ground. The most important part of sky diving equipment, of course, is the parachute. But it's not the only part. In addition to your parachute, you'll need the right clothing. Comfortable shoes are important when sky diving. You want shoes that are going to be easy to land in. Athletic sneakers are recommended. You'll also need a jumpsuit which is a special suit designed for sky diving. And, you'll need to wear a helmet to protect your head. There are even helmets equipped with cameras so that you can capture your sky diving adventure on film. The most important thing to consider when shopping for gear is safety.

If you sign up for a sky diving class, your equipment may come included in the price. Many people who try this activity rent their equipment rather than purchasing it outright. This is because the equipment is expensive and many people go sky diving only once in a lifetime. Of course, there are those who become addicted and want to go all the time. If you're one of them, you may find it more economical to purchase your equipment. If you can't find a sky diving specialty store in your locality, you can shop online.
